YouTube search strives to surface the most relevant results based upon keyword searches. YouTube says search results are not a list of the most viewed videos for a given search. It ranks videos based upon how well the title, description, and video content match the viewers search.
Another ranking factor is video watch time....how long people watch the video or watch successive videos in a row.
Replace algorithm with audience.
Instead of asking the question, how can I make the algorithm find my video...ask how can I make the audience find this video?
