Welcome to the inaugural episode of a long-winded, long-form walkthrough, general guide, and in-depth discussion of Risen, the 2009 action RPG from Piranha Bytes, and their first release since walking away from their legacy of the Gothic series.
This series will cover as much of the game as I can possibly think of, in a fairly organic playthrough with live commentary throughout.
