New rule now in effect that will easily allow immigrants to receive public benefits

Unlike the Trump administration version of this rule, certain benefits such as SNAP benefits (food stamps), special nutrition program for women, infants and children (WIC), housing benefits, etc. won’t be considered when determining if an immigrant is considered a public charge.
