This videoclip is from the chamber concert of the Russian singer Leonid Kharitonov (bass) which took place in the Fyodor Shalyapin's house-museum in June of 1996. This record was made by some unknown spectator.

"A Life for the Tsar" is a first national Russian opera written by the famous Russian composer Mikail Ivanovich Glinka. The story is about the event which took place in 1612 in Russia when the Polish army tried to capture Moscow city.
