I've picked up a 2018 Macbook Air, one of the recently released units. I was a bit perplexed about the upgrade path in terms of processors - it contains a Y series 7 watt processor, compared to the previous gen having a 15 watt U series for example.
Also, not quite sure why this exists at the same time as the 12" Macbook? Who knows.
Anyway, in this video I've shown how the unit performs, and I've even included a Windows 10 machine in VMWare Fusion..... It's OK..but I wouldn't want to use it all the time.
My current feeling is that this one will be going back.
