When you grocery shop with Ukrainian babushkas in December there's no respite from the elements. Goods aren't neatly labelled, packaged, and priced. No bored teenagers, chewing gum, throwing your potatoes on your eggs while asking if you have a points card.
We wanted to share with you how getting your groceries on the street in Ukraine is a bit of a different experience. Through Gosia (our new friend and translator) we get to know some of these hard working ladies and their stories.
We hope you enjoy it! As always, don't be shy with feedback.
