Actions Speak Louder Than Words
The Cherkasy regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross is actively working to help and support all those in need. Specifically:
Volunteers from mobile teams and social workers reach even the most remote districts of the region. By the end of May, their number will reach 60, which will increase the number of recipients and the quality of services provided to them.
With the assistance of the #BraVo project, the Cherkasy clothing bank has been established. It occupies an area of 400 square meters and provides services to almost 200 people daily.
In 2023, the Cherkasy Regional Organization provided humanitarian aid totaling approximately UAH 100 million.
As part of the "Preparation for the Winter Period" program, a total of UAH 12 million was spent on repairing and maintaining shelters.
Generators and heaters worth UAH 27 million were supplied.
