UC Berkeley College of Engineering dean Tsu-Jae King Liu hosts a panel with Yogananda Pittman, the new UC Berkeley police chief, as she shares her goals and vision for UCPD on Thursday, March 16, 2023 in Sutardja Dai Hall's Banatao Auditorium. Joining Chief Pittman are Berkeley City Councilwoman Susan Wengraf and Berkeley city police officer Byron White. This event provided an opportunity for our community to share concerns and suggestions regarding safety and security on campus, and to learn about on-going campus and city efforts to improve community safety.
