With a cast consisting of Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Sacha Baron Cohen and Johnny Depp, it’s no wonder that Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is supremely entertaining. Based on the 1970 stage play by Christopher Bond, which was immortalized in musical for in 1979 by Stephen Sondheim, Tim Burton’s big screen adaptation is excellent, and it’ll lend a little variety to your Halloween horror marathon.
