St. Lucie County sheriff, county leaders face off in budget battle
St. Lucie County deputies fear that raises they desperately need will be the first thing cut if the sheriff doesn't get his full budget approved for the next fiscal year. But the union representing deputies is turning the blame back on Sheriff Keith Pearson, urging him to find other places to cut costs first.
