Episode 168: Focus | How to Remove the Distractions
What are your distractions? We need to recognize what they are and when they happen. Make a schedule so you can do what you need to do. It's a great idea to set a timer for those things that lead you into distraction.
Here are 5 tips for you...
1. Create a schedule - including the things that lead to distraction. Limit the time for that.
2. Setting Goals. Set your goal and the tasks you need to do each day to work toward that goal.
3. Block your favorite distractions for a few hours.
4. Turn off alerts. Put your phone in airplane mode or on silent.
5. Eat without a device.
6. Create distraction free environment.
7. Check your progress. How are you doing with limiting your distractions and reaching your goals?
8. Accountability. Having a Christian coach hold you accountable makes a huge difference.
9. Celebrate the Small Wins.
10. Remember your purpose. Why are you doing this? Is this what God is calling you to do?
Implementing these 10 steps will help you focus on what matters and remove your favorite distractions that lead you into things that do not matter.
