Episode 169: Do I HAVE to read the Bible?

Pray before you open your Bible and ask God to teach you. Let Him know you want to understand His word. Read it out loud and meditate on it. Ask God, "What do you want me to know?"
Change your perspective from "do I have to" read my Bible and replace it "Yay, I GET to" read my Bible. Spend time in the word, memorize it, and ask God to write it on your heart.
Bible Reading Tips:
1. Choose a translation you can understand and enjoy reading.
2. Choose a plan or a strategy for reading.
3. Read curiously. Ask God questions and make notes. Study what you are reading.
