Combining lasers and photography to help sand tiger sharks
University of Delaware marine science major Cara Lamberty is working to help understand the population dynamics of sand tiger sharks along the East Coast to advance conservation efforts for this globally vulnerable species. The project is in partnership with Spot A Shark USA, a citizen science research program led by North Carolina Aquariums, and the South-East Zoo Alliance for Reproduction and Conservation (SEZARC).
