To combat the dissemination and sharing of child sexual abuse material across all of India, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) searched 56 sites in 19 States and one Union Territory (CSAM). The "MeghChakra" operation is being carried out in response to inputs from Interpol's Singapore special unit based on the information obtained from the New Zealand authorities. Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, Telengana, and Tamil Nadu are among the other states where searches are being conducted. The CBI thereafter made the decision, based on its findings, to make requests to other nations for the information collected under the MLATs on persons involved in the scheme. There were gonna be almost a hundred references.
