Long ago, there were the 2 forces, heroism, intelligence and the most dreaded of all, grass! These foliage just seem to grow everywhere and they are boring, Someone needs to put a stop to this menace, luckily our fairy friend had found the perfect hero up for the task to purge the grasp of grass. Someone worth of wielding a legendary weapon... at least what was supposed to a weapon when it's finished...
The Legend of Blade and Grass is a little game made by a group of friends for the GMTK game jam 2024 with the theme of built to scale. You shall forge your weapon as you walk the lands and use it's bizarre form to destroy grass and other natural foliage that dares to spread in the lands. This is a arcade game about building the biggest sword and watch it obliterate the entire stage in a satisfying manner, all in a funny primes that was a parody to the popular series The Legend of Zelda.
