WORLD BALLET STARS, Gala with the principal dancers of the Ballet de Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Hamburg Ballet of John Neumeier, the Astana Opera, the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam, the Hungarian National Ballet and the Royal Ballet of Flanders in Antwerp.
This is the 7th edition of project “World Ballet Stars” by Geneva Dance Events Association aiming at bringing the most extraordinary world ballet stars to Switzerland.
So, we will delight our public with the new program containing both iconic classics: “The Swan Lake”, “The Nutcracker”, “Le Corsair”, “Don Quichotte” and contemporary masterpieces created by the most prominent and sought-after choreographers of today’s ballet world.
To surprise our spectators, we are happy to present two world premieres: « The Maiden and the Death » choreographed by Simone Repele and Sasha Riva and «Confession of Nijinsky» choreographed by Claudio Cangialosi, created especially for the WORLD BALLET STARS Gala and one Solo from “Harbor Me” created by world-famous choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.

2014 he received the Premio Roma.
In 2016, Alexandre Riabko was awarded the Benois de la Danse in the category 'The High Art as Dance Partner’.
In 1996 she was awarded the Dr. Wilhelm Oberdörffer Prize
In 2008 she was awarded the Benois de la Danse for her performance in “The Little Mermaid”
In 2008 she was awarded Order of Merit della Republica Italiana.
