In this video, I will show you how we can download Add-ons, or I call Extensions from Microsoft Edge Add-ons & Extension Store for development purpose. We need to download the extension in zip or crx format when we want the source code of that extension.
As we know, new Edge Browser is based on the same Chromium Project as Google Chrome, and both browsers can also share extensions. Although I can easily find an extension to download zip or crx file from Google Chrome Extension Store, But I was not able to find a similar kind of extension for Microsoft Store. However, I found an alternate method to download extensions from Microsoft Store in zip or crx format.
