"The idea that you can lean on people, and you can talk about how you're feeling, you can talk about your emotional state. Your mental state is as important as a yearly physical. It should be as important as anything else in your life that you're maintaining your health on. And I don't think there's anything to be embarrassed about. I don't think there's any reason not to talk about where you're at emotionally or mentally, because the more you can lean on people and the more you can share with people, I think the better chance you have of getting where you're trying to go, which is to just be as happy and healthy and live the best life that you can live." - @jimward of @sparta and @atthe

We are thrilled to release our latest video with El Paso-based punk rock veteran @jimwardofficial of Sparta and previously of At The Drive In. In this "Song That Found Me at the Right Time" installment, Jim covers the Ben Folds song "The Luckiest" and talks intimately about the significance of the song to him and all that he has leaned on to keep up his mental health over the years. This release is a special one, as it is also our inaugural Therapy Fund video in which Jim's fan base is invited to apply for vouchers for psychotherapy sessions as needed.
