2. Contact the Bank or UPI Service: Reach out to your bank's customer service or the UPI service provider. Provide them with details of the transaction, including the transaction ID and any relevant information.
3. Fill Out Required Forms: Some banks may require you to fill out a refund request form. Complete this form with accurate details and submit it as instructed.
4. Wait for Investigation: The bank will investigate the transaction. This process can take a few days, so be patient. Keep track of any reference numbers given during the dispute process.
5. Check Refund Status: After the investigation, check with your bank or UPI app for updates on your refund status. If approved, the amount will typically be credited back to your account.
