How to use a spot light meter for landscape photography
In this video, we take a look at how I use my spot light meter for landscape photography. My spot meter is the Sekonic L-858D however, this tutorial is relevant for all spot meters that have the averaging function. In this video, I will cover how to use the averaging method, I reference the Ansel Adams Zones System, I talk about evaluating the landscape to determine its dynamic range, I talk about exposure compensation, and how graduated filters can used.
