On desktop we now have a Custom Playback Speed slider that allows the keyboard arrows keys when tapped to change playback speed at a rate of 0.05 per tap. This is very useful if you wish, and need, to be super pruductive to make sense of a video at a faster rate.

My optimal speed is about x1.6 meaning a 10 minute video will take me 6 mins to watch thus saving 4 mins. Therefore an hour long meeting or lecture could take just 40 mins, saving you the 20 minutes for something else .. \o/ ..

It seems on mobile/tablet you can only access the 0.25 spped ontervals, so for me, i'm stuck with x1.5 insted of the x1.6 i would like. With this method of using the laft/right up/down arrows, we get:
-- 15 increments down ie 0.25, 0.30, 0.35, 0.40, 0.45 … 1.00 then
-- 20 increments down 1.00, 1.05, 1.10, 1.15, 1.20 … 2.00 or
-- control by a mouse drag where keyboard arrows all 1/20th of speed per tap.
