03:40 – great view of The Pearl – Qatar, an artificial island with 3 lagoons (Marsa Arabia, Porto Arabia and Viva Bahriya) and luxurious real estate for over 48 000 residents. The name “The Pearl” was chosen because island is built on once major Qatar pearl diving site.
04:10 – a view on a Katara Towers under construction. Once finished these twin arched towers will be a main landmark of Lucail district of Doha and definitely one of the most recognizable skyscrapers in the World.
04:35 – another artificial island under construction - a Qetaifan Island.
07:15 – flying over Ras Laffan industrial city – Qatar's main site for production of liquefied natural gas. At 07:25 behind the clouds Ras Laffan Port is seen. This is the largest artificial harbour in the world and contains the world's largest LNG export facility.
07:50 – view on snowy mountains in Turkey.
09:50 – approach and landing in Budapest. Just 5 hours of flight and over 30˚C temperature difference ;)
