Campus-Wide Community Engaged Scholarship: Developing Culture of Engagement
This workshop will include interactive discussion of Washburn University's current efforts to change the culture of engagement on campus. This will include the development of a rubric to support faculty and the university in moving from random volunteering and service-learning to being an intentional community engaged campus, a tenure and promotion policy, and a transcript designation as well as materials we use in training faculty and how we connect all of this to the university mission and strategic plan.
