Here's how to enable auto-ripple in FL Studio Playlist, also referred to as removing dead space, or removing empty space after deleting patterns.

Ripple is the process of when you delete patterns, it will auto-collapse, and remove the empty space that the deleted pattern filled, joining the patterns side by side to save time!

In short, if you delete a pattern in the Playlist, and empty space is left. Using ripple in FL Studio allows you to delete the pattern, and all other patterns move over that amount in bars (depending on the size of the highlighted area in playlist to ripple).

FL Studio Keyboard Ripple Shortcuts are:

⌨ INSERT SPACE INTO PLAYLIST: CTRL + INS (INSERT)

⌨ REMOVE SPACE INTO PLAYLIST: CTRL + DEL (DELETE)
