Early Spring on the North's best carp lake - April 2025 vlog
Join me at what I consider to be the North's finest carp lake - The Foundry - in Lincoln. I visit the exclusive 30-acre syndicate for two five-day sessions in early Spring (March/April) to see if I can get amongst the special carp the lake is known for. The first trip is a bit of a slow one, but the second see's perfect big fish conditions and rewards me with some absolutely stunning carp to over 40lb. I talk through the big fish mindset of dealing with blanks at this time of the year and how important it is to not lose your head. I also show how I use pop-ups on my 'go-to' rig that I use everywhere I fish.
