I often travel for just one or two nights away and because I use a lot of public transport I try to keep things as light and compact as possible.
Here are some of my amazing, travel-friendly must-haves.

First, the Good Wash Day hair towel. I first bought one of these about a year ago and was instantly impressed. It’s not your usual towel! This is so soft and smooth, made from ethical cotton jersey, so it’s incredibly gentle on your hair. Less friction, so hair has far less frizz and is easier to manage.
Great for all hair types and is especially brilliant for those experiencing hair loss or regrowth or who have very fragile hair. Just blot, or wrap - and it’s so light (and perfectly sized) that it doesn’t pull at your roots when you leave it wrapped on your head.
Both the towel and packaging are sustainably sourced and ethical and the brand is an independent, woman-owned brand based in the UK. There are loads of prints and colours - take a look at the website and be prepared for smoother, less frizzy hair after washing. It’s now a non-negotiable part of my routine.
