This Video show How to configure FortiGate Firewall on Virtual environment using VMware. I hope to upload step by step whole training sessions. Please refer below commands

#execute factoryreset
#config system interface
#edit port1
#set mode static
#set ip (must be your local hot ip range if bridge in enable )
#set allowaccess http https ping
#end
#config router static
#edit 1
#set getaway (your isp router lan side ip )
If getaway command not work use below two commands after edit1
#set device port1 (select your wan interface according to my setup its port1)
#set getaway
