Steps to painting a stenciled double sided portrait - acrylic on the back, stencil drawing on the front.
*Note: after creating this video I realized a much easier / simpler way to do this would be to simply fully trace and ink the portrait before you start painting. This eliminates the unnecessary step of partially tracing and having to look at the photograph at the end.
Materials:
Duralar
Sharpie Marker
Portrait edited in pixlr using "Threshold" to achieve a stencil look
scotch tape
Acrylic paint
Palette knife to achieve texture.
