After Wartales cranked up the difficulty a few notches, I'm running into the next set of missions with a bit of trepidation. Clearly, our squad's levels are doing very well and our prisoner turn ins have done wonders for keeping the money flowing in. But our gear hasn't kept up, and the next few things to sort out all likely involve killing. Almost everything in Wartales involves killing. Does it have to be this way?
Wartales has DNA from a lot of other games, including Battle Brothers, Kenshi, and Mount and Blade. It's well worth the price right now and I'm excited to see where this game goes towards release. Intimated as hell, yes. But excited.
