Tracey Deer and Kiawentiio discuss award-winning film 'Beans'
Director Tracey Deer talks about the coming of age story in 'Beans,' which is based on her experiences as a child during the Oka crisis. Kiawentiio, who plays the starring role of a young indigenous girl nicknamed Beans, talks about composing and performing the song that plays over the final credits.
'Beans' opens in major cities across Canada on July 23, 2021.
