Welcome back to Story Choices! Today, we are trying something very different. We’ve been using the coolest new Artificial Intelligence called Chat G P T. We played around and discovered that it’s pretty good at collaborative storytelling. So, we’ve created a new Science Fiction episode we are calling: “Mary-Sue and the Trekkie Crew.”
You’ll also notice that we’ve posted some art on this video, which we generated using another popular A.I. tool: MidJourney.
And, you’ll also notice that we’re using A.I. tools to create the words you are hearing now. The future is here, people!
So, here’s our quirky A.I. induced Star Trek fan fiction. We began by writing the following prompt:
In a intense and exciting novelization, Write the opening scene of a never-before-seen episode of classic Star Trek (featuring Scotty and Mr. Spock)
The sentences that are written in green are generated by Chat G P T. The sentences written in blue are written by a lowly human working here at Story Choices lab. This was so much fun. It felt like playing inside a literary holo-deck. And now… let’s begin “Mary Sue and the Trekkie Crew!”
