[Eng Sub] Audix OM3 and Audix OM2 microphones || Is there a difference other than price?
Audix OM2 and Audix OM3 dynamic vocal microphones are literally twin brothers in appearance. It is understandable, saving on design can be quite justified if it allows to significantly reduce the price of the older model. Both microphones are made of zinc alloy, have a holder and a storage case, are characterized by the same impedance (290 Ohm) and sensitivity (1.6 mV/Pa), as well as a hypercardioid polar pattern. But they differ in three parameters: maximum sound pressure level (140 and 144 dB, respectively), frequency range (50-16000 and 50-18000 Hz) and price, which is a third higher for the OM3 model.
