In 2017, the creators of The Paranormal Scholar, Laura and Erik Rowton, attempted to discover if it is possible to prove the existence of life after death. They shared their journey in their 2019 documentary film "In Search of the Dead". In the years since, they have continued their search for survival, conducting paranormal investigations, using Ouija boards to speak to ghosts, exploring psychic mediumship, and even developing their own spiritual abilities and connection to the other side. Their new feature film documents some of their latest findings, including the fate of Jane Blakemore, a seventeen-year-old girl who died in 1856... who has seemingly returned from beyond the grave to set the record straight, and prove - in no uncertain terms - that she was murdered.
