working girl's spring break | Sedona, AZ getaway (part 1)

Trip to Sedona for @kaitlinyau6094's birthday, PART 1!
We flew out from Seattle to Phoenix. Dropped by Flower Child for a quick dinner before our looonnng drive to Sedona. Our first stop was Slide Rock state park to get some water action going. I wore long sleeves in 90 degree weather because I didn't want to get tan lol.
On our drive back, we stopped by a scenic viewpoint that wasn't very scenic... but we stumbled upon a local tribe market where they sold handmade jewelry and artwork. Then we went to Matterhorn shopping center, just to look around and drink coffee.
After we got back, we washed up, dressed up and went out to go take pictures during golden hour. Then we went wine tasting nearby the restaurant, Merkin Vineyards Tasting Room & Osteria. The charcuterie board was very nice, and the complementary birthday dessert was delicious as well!
We came home after dinner and watched some teenage romance movie that was cringe but we were INVESTED by the end (LOL). And now it's morning time and on to our next adventure in Sedona...!
