Air Conditioner Circuit Breaker Keeps Tripping!

During 100-deg weather, the A/C compressor and fan in the unit would stop working. When the circuit breaker was checked, it wasn’t “tripped.” Re-setting the circuit breaker would allow the A/C to work again for a few days until it happened again. This told me the internals of the circuit breaker were faulty.
