Learn about the different Basic Authentication types and how to implement them in Rest Assured.
Preemptive Basic Authentication – Sends the basic authentication credential before the server given an unauthorized response. No need for additional connection.
Challenged Basic Authentication – Doesn’t send the credentials until server requests explicitly. Additional request is sent to challenge the server and then follow up with same request again along with basic credentials.
