Nature is our global life support system. We are entirely reliant upon it. Our forests and other natural ecosystems regulate our climate through the production of life-giving oxygen and the take-up of CO2. They are the lungs of the earth and, without them, life as we know it would cease to exist.
We know that protecting and regenerating nature is one of the biggest contributions Unilever can make towards tackling climate change and making sustainable living commonplace. We need to harness the environmental solutions that nature provides, to ensure the worst potential impacts of climate change don’t become reality.
It’s time to act and we have the solution. It’s in our nature.
