Two Buttons Deep at the "Save America" rally
When Jack Carpenter and Matt Whalen rolled into Washington D.C. Wednesday morning they planned on grabbing some footage and scoring a few interviews with people on the ground for the "Save America" rally for their Capital Region-based media and entertainment company, Two Buttons Deep. Instead, they ended up in the middle of a history-making mob where some protestors broke barriers and smashed windows as they took over the U.S. Capitol. Four participants and one police officer died in the violent melee.
