Today I show you how to build a website in less than 6 minutes. By the end of the video you'll have your own website setup on Weebly (an excellent drag and drop website builder) and have it connected to your own domain name.
I've been recommending Weebly for years on my website builder reviews website (https://www.sitebuilderreport.com). I recommend because it's easy to use, deceptively powerful and has excellent, mobile-friendly themes.
This video walks you through every step in detail— signing up, choosing your theme. choosing your domain name, what the best website plan is and more.
A couple notes:
All websites need web hosting and domain names— doesn't matter if you're using Wordpress, Weebly or Squarespace.
While Weebly's 'Connect Plan' is the cheapest plan, it includes Weebly branding on the footer of your website. You don't want that.
Weebly domain names cost $24 / year— which is a lot. You do get one year free on the annual plan, but that's just one year. As an alternative, Namecheap sells domain names for only $14 / year. The only downside with using Namecheap is that it may take some technical finagling.
