Multiple agencies are currently fighting a multi-alarm fire at a seafood restaurant in Stanly County, officials said.
Midland Fire & Rescue said crews from Cabarrus, Montgomery and Stanly counties were called to a fire at Jay's Seafood on Stony Gap Road in Albemarle. The fire happened around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
When firefighters arrived, they saw smoke and flames coming from the roof of the building. Multiple crews are working to get a fire in the roof out, according to Midland officials.
It's unclear if anyone was hurt during and it hasn't been determined what caused the fire. WCNC Charlotte has a crew headed to the scene to learn more information. #News
