"Go big or go home. Vindication is a big boy with its 61mm diameter. Once you adjust to the size, everything else feels small and lacking in power for the most part.
The Vindication sports a V shape that starts off concaved, from the bearing side, halfways up and then shoots straight to the rim for an exteme V shape. Unlike most V shapes, the Vindication has rims that are totally rounded over for a softer catch instead of the stereotypical sharp catch of most other V shape yoyos. This yoyo was geared towards my personal preference in a performance yoyo (horizontal, grinds, easy catch, no sharp catch feeling, powerful spin). I'm generally willing to sacrifice some smoothness for a softer catch, more rim weight (higher inertia), nice aesthetics, and large catch zone, but I was surprised with the smoothness of the Vindication B grades and the amount of A grades that we got. While I do prefer heavier yoyos, I went ahead and kept it under 65g for the folks who like a lighter weight. Nonetheless, the Vindication is a powerhouse of a throw with just under 50% (45%) of it's weight in the steel rims, and will power through plenty of horizontal, speed, and tech combos. I do recommend swapping the stock assembly bearing for the hybrid bearing option.
