Sing with me. What is an octave? How to sing higher than yourself and what is your vocal range?
I made this video for all of you guys and girls that wonder how many octaves they can actually sing, explain what an octave is and a few little tricks on how to tap into your shriek or whistle range
If you are serious of learning to sing, or want to train to sing higher, louder and preciser, I advise you to buy a keyboard or piano with at least four octaves or 54 keys. This way you can focus on individual notes and note patterns for the songs you want to sing. More on that in my next video

Trying to force notes much higher than your natural range can result in tearing and even permanent loss of your voice!
The moment you feel pain, exhaustion and tiredness in your throat you should stop immediately. Vocal muscles need time to build, much like any other muscle group. Train daily but train wisely.
