(Update: New Race: • [New Product] Southern Railway PS-4 V... )
The glorious Southern PS-4 (4-6-2) Pacific type engine was the preferred power of the legendary long-distance named train "The Crescent" of Southern Railway (SOU). For 130 years, the train operated 1,377 miles (2,216 km) daily between New York City and New Orleans, with luxurious amenities and first-class service. The Southern PS-4 1401 is preserved and on display at the National Museum of American History as part of the Smithsonian's "America on the Move" exhibition.👍
In this video, we reskinned an RPO car, Pullman sleepers, dining car, and a sleeper-observation car to recreate the 1940 version of the Southern Railway "The Crescent" 10-car consist. 😉
