Virginia Beach SPCA takes in 29 dogs surrendered from commercial breeders
On Saturday, workers with the Virginia Beach SPCA picked up more than two dozen dogs in Richmond as part of a large-scale transfer organized by the Bissell Pet Foundation. The dogs were part of a larger group of 170 animals surrendered to the National Mill Dog Rescue from commercial breeders. Shelter officials said the dogs will become available for adoption in the coming days.
