Taiwan Travel Pt 2 Tainan Art Museum Amazing Exhibit | Taiwan High Speed Train | Shennong Old Street
Tainan is a city in the southern part of Taiwan. I wanted to experience "old Taiwan". I heard I can find it in Tainan. Tainan still has the vestige of the Japanese occupation of Taiwan from 1895 to August 14, 1945. [And even some of the Dutch occupation. I didn't have time to explore the Dutch section this time but will next time I visit.]
Tainan has amazing food as in all parts of Taiwan. I loved the exhibits at the Tainan Art Museum. Such an underrated art institution. Shennong Street is an old street with charming shops and lined with cute/unique food vendors. The lit lanterns of many colors made the street come alive magically. I love places that makes me feel like "time travel". This is definitely one of them.
