Jessica Kuster sets the all-time scoring record at Rice University
Senior forward Jessica Kuster forever etched her name in Rice women's basketball lore by surpassing Pat Krieger's 32-year-old all-time scoring record in a 62-55 loss to Tulane Wednesday evening at Tudor Fieldhouse.
Kuster entered play Wednesday needing just 14 points to move into first all-time on the Rice scoring list and the San Antonio, Texas native delivered those 14 points on the dot, making history at the 3:23 mark of the second half with a made three-pointer to break the record with 1,852 career points.
