BUTTERCREAM RECIPE:
400 grams butter
800 grams icing sugar
3 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

I used Americolour black buttercream, pretty much 3/4 of the bottle did it for me. Remember to leave a little bit of white buttercream aside for the ghost decorations!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I did say Australia doesn't really celebrate this, but what I meant was we don't celebrate it as extravagantly as they do in America :) I say that as I put on my Cinderella costume and make my way to my work party. No joke haha I'm actually already late because I wanted to make sure this video uploaded in time for Halloween!

In these video tutorials, I normally use Bakels Premixes to save on time.
(Bakels is a bakery grade cake premix. Another great one is Allied Mills)

If you prefer to bake from scratch, I do have a range of awesome cake recipes here which convert to cupcake recipes very nicely too.

I use these butter based cakes above because they are sturdy under fondant and stable at room temperature, as are the muds.
