The US Open is just around the corner (starts 29th August) and the precociously talented Carlos Alcaraz has a problem - he can't beat his great rival Jannick Sinner, despite being 8 places higher in the rankings.
Speaking ahead of the National Bank Open Masters 1000 in Canada, world number 4 Alcaraz said he can become a better player thanks to his rivalry with Italian Jannick Sinner.
The Spaniard has been outplayed by the Italian in their last two meetings, at Wimbledon and again last week in Croatia
The 19-year-old who will face Tommy Paul or Vasek Pospisil in the first round of a tournament that is acording to Alcaraz 'very open' because the absence of Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
