In this first part of the "Machining the MANDALORIAN" miniseries, Derrick shows how to program the roughing operations.
One of the problems often faced by educators in technical colleges is that using one of the big machines to demonstrate how to machine a simple part is not always a viable option. Luckily there are solutions designed to overcome these issues and help students get started with their CNC machine learning. Derrick Hogan, CNC Technology Instructor at North Georgia Technical College, provided an example for us.
In this short video series, he will show us how to program, setup, and machine a model of the Mandalorian using @adskFusion and a @PentaMachineCo 5-axis machine.
Stay tuned for the second part of the series!
