In one of my last quizzes, I asked you if we say "au printemps" or "en Printemps." Many of you got the answer right, but not always for the right reasons. We say AU PRINTEMPS because printemps starts with a consonant, while the other seasons begin with a vowel and are used with en. En été - en automne - en hiver but au printemps.
